HERSHEY"S COCONUT CANDY
Ingredients:
- Rustle of coconut (kerisik kelapa)
- Hershey's melted chocolate
- Condensed milk
- Sugar
- Salt
- Vanilla extract
Procedure:
- Heat up a wok and add in the rustle of coconut.
- Roast the rustle for about a minute or two. Then add in some sugar, salt, condensed milk and vanilla extract.
- Mix well till every sugary substance in the mixture is melted and well mixed.
- Finally, add in the Hershey's melted chocolate as per taste and color and mix thoroughly till the color is evenly spread.
- Put the coconut candy in a container and let it aside overnight.
- For fast results,you can keep the candy in refrigerator.
- If Hershey's chocolate is not available, you can use food coloring as a substitute.
CHICKEN TERIYAKI
Ingredients:
- thinly sliced ginger
- finely chopped garlic
- spring onion
- 2 tbsp of soy sauce
- 2 tbsp of honey
- 2 tbsp sugar
- chili flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- all purpose flour
- oil
- chicken breast (cleaned)
Procedure:
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sugar, vinegar, ginger, garlic, chili flakes, spring onion, and water. Set aside.
- Apply all purpose flour onto the chicken breasts.
- Heat up the non stick pan and add small amount of oil.
- Fry the chicken breasts for 5 minutes on each side.
- Upon completing the fry, add the mixture to the pan and cook till the sauce is reduced.
- Take out the chicken and cut them into size of favor.
- Add 2 tbsp of water to the same pan and add in the chicken.
- After all the water have been reduced, plate the chicken teriyaki with some sesame seeds and vegetables.
